Pump it up!

Woo! I'm pumped up right now!

Maybe it's cause I'm listening to techno music...lol

ACTUALLY, it's because I'm an official blogger for a hunt!

My first one! It's a great hunt with lots of good designers and items!

It's the FIST PUMP WITH THE BEST HUNT put on by Rockstarroo Gossipgirl!

I will post pics of the items soon but believe me you'll

want everything in the hunt so just go for it!

Here's the hunt hint list: http://fistpumpwiththebest.wordpress.com/about/

The hunt goes til April 3rd! The starting location is at Atooly.

Have fun!

Wintery Gardenscape

Hey peeps!

I wanted to let you know about a build/set I did in world

that's opening to the public this friday through March 20th, 2011.

It's a winter-themed build so that's why it's coming

down March 20th - the first day of spring.

There will be a Grand Opening party and a closing party later for the

Wintery Gardenscape, as I am calling it. The Grand Opening party will be

this Friday, February 11th, 2011 at 9:30pm SLT at the Wintery Gardenscape.

Deejay Antonio Plassitz will be playing a stellar set (as always). He also

rents the land where the Wintery Gardenscape is

located and graciously let me build it there. Thank you Ant! ^.^

Invite your friends and family to come join us this Friday for the event! It will be a blast! Don't forget your skates because the Wintery Gardenscape is built on and around a huge frozen pond!

Hope to see you there! ^.^

Here are some more photos of the place:

Plum time for some posts!

*nervous laughter* Remember me? lol.

I could list my numerous excuses for being gone so long but

instead I'll just say sometimes RL takes precedence, as it should.

But! I do hope to catch up this week and next to where

I should be for the 52 weeks of color challenge. ^.^

This means I must put my horrible habits of

perfectionism and procrastination aside for now...haha

This week I have a guest in my photos with me. Her name is Pia Janic!

She is a good friend of mine and she's SO stylish and AWEsome.

Pia is so intelligent and she challenges me to open my mind to new ideas.

Isn't she just the prettiest? :D

We shot these photos at Alirium Gardens.

Alirium Gardens is not only a fabulous high

quality garden store but also a fun place to explore! They have made

a vivid ethereal garden surrounding the store, which is in a mystical cave.

Thanks for shooting with me Pia girl! And thanks to those who

read my blog. I appreciate you. Come back every day this week for new posts! ^.^

Oh! Lastly, the boots I am wearing were not shown well

in these pics so here's an extra close shot of them.

They are still a group gift at Magi Take. There are tons

of other free group gifts there too - including some

NEW purple mary janes! Go crazy! 8D

Merry Christmas from me to you!

I wanted to wish you a very merry happy jolly Christmas!

I hope you all have a wonderful time with family and friends and that you

remember what Christmas is truly all about. To quote Charlie Brown (and the bible):

"'And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by

night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:

and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good

tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of

David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the

babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel

a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth

peace, good will toward men.' That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." ~Linus Van Pelt

Merry Christmas!

Stray Faun

Goldenrod! *sighes* I'm trying to catch up...I promise...lol

When I thought of goldenrod I thought

of the sunlight reflecting off my faun antlers...

so thus my goldenrod outfit was born...hehe

As a faun, I love to frolic and play in the wood at Swordfish...

I love the streets of Swordfish too! They make a faun

feel like she's in a chic European town! ^.^

Swordfish is a stellar sim that is home to many shops - including Stray Pig!

Stray Pig is a high quality store with wonderfully whimsical

sculpted toys and furniture. The talented creator is yonyon Yip.

Good news is that Stray Pig is having a Christmas hunt

on the Swordfish Sim right now! :D

You have to find five pigs with santa hats - scattered around the whole sim...but there are decoys (ones with no hats) - so beware! This hunt is rather difficult but very rewarding!

The hunt items include a christmas tree, red wood sled, Santa Russian doll,

Christmas house, and my favorite item - an animated deer in bed!

Since I don't speak Japanese, I do not know when the hunt

ends. So better hurry and grab the piggies! hehe

The deer in bed comes with a pose (not shown)

where you can snuggle in bed with him! :O

The item names the deer Bambi but I think he might be

Rudolph's cousin! Why is he in bed? I think he's sick so I

tried to cheer him up with mah silly faces...hehe

I know you want to have this cozy deer to decorate your home for

the winter...So go hunt the lil Santa piggies and enjoy the Swordfish sim!

p.s. Stray Pig has four lucky boards with other cute items on them as well!
