Dark Blue World

Well I've learned a valuable lesson...

I take too many pictures when I do an in-world

photo shoot so it takes me forever to narrow them

down and edit the ones I want to use.

Two weeks ago was the color BLUE

for the 52 Weeks of Color challenge and

I'm sorry I'm so behind! I will catch

up this week I hope! I actually have

two posts for the color blue because

I was inspired in two directions. The

other post will come later - I'm still

editing...ahhh so much to do! hehe

So with Mr. grumpy Winter upon us...

(and it snowed here recently!)

I was inspired with a skating

and snow-themed blue shoot.

I found a stellar place in SL called

Dark White World, designed by Vanilla Chemistry.

This creative sim definitely has a fantasy-eyed view of winter.

It is definitely reminiscent of the castle and land that is home

to Jadis, the White Witch, in Chronicles of Narnia - cold

and mystical. All that is missing are statues of frozen

creatures who have crossed her path and made her angry! XD

They have both singles and couples trick skating...free ice skates provided!

Besides skating, they have dancing and an ice castle and winter garden to explore!

I was utterly ecstatic to find white bunnies here at Dark White World!

A little secret about me...anywhere there are white bunnies - I'm there!

I'm a complete fan of Alice in Wonderland and everything related! ^.^

I even got one of the cute lil bunnies to hold my name for the shot! *wink*

When I was out in the cold blue of winter...I had to make sure I'd be warm enough!

The Reek Snowflake Blue Cozy Mittens, (Royal Blue) Winter's Coming Scarf,

and the Concrete Flowers Seppel Legwarmers kept me warm enough

so that I didn't turn blue! hehe

By the way, the skates I'm wearing are from Cattiva e Cattivo and are

truly the definition of High Fashion in the midst of winter! They are fabulous

and FREE at the Zhao sim, where they have an ice rink so you

can try them out! Free skates for men available too. Go grab 'em!

The Umpire State Building on the Jieut Sim.

It is a gigantic replica of the Empire State Building in New York City
